As in any organization or business, the success of a Land Trust requires a committed and able Board of Directors. The Board of The Northwest Rangeland Trust is composed of members with a broad range of perspectives and expertise, including ranching, farming, business, law, and real estate. The Board is responsible for the governance of the Land Trust, for the stewardship of its easements and properties, and for managing its finances. Board members attend monthly meetings, represent the Land Trust at events, and participate in land trust committees.
